Global Electronics Council | Booth 307
The Global Electronics Council® (GEC) is a mission-driven nonprofit working toward a world where only sustainable electronic technology is bought and sold, advancing the well-being of people and planet. Our vision is to create a future where electronic technology is not only sustainable but also enhances the well-being of society and the environment. GEC manages the EPEAT® ecolabel, a free resource for procurement professionals to identify and select more sustainable products. EPEAT is also a valuable tool for manufacturers, helping them demonstrate that their products meet the highest sustainability standards. Since its launch in 2006, procurement professionals have reported purchases of over 2.7 billion EPEAT products, generating cost savings exceeding $34 billion USD and reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 341 million metric tonnes. Our mission is to accelerate the transformation of markets to prioritize the most sustainable electronic technology products and services, driving positive impacts for both people and the planet.
