Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about eSummit27 — format, logistics, registration, and more.
About the event
What is eSummit?
The eSummit brings together senior leaders from across the electronics value chain to work on the challenges that shape how electronics are designed, procured, managed, reused, and recycled. It's built around facilitated roundtables, presentations, working sessions, and peer conversations.
Who attends?
Decision-makers from OEMs, ITAD providers, recyclers, refurbishers, policymakers, and industry organizations. These are people shaping procurement standards, influencing regulation, managing asset lifecycles, and running operations at scale.
What is the format?
Monday includes facility tours, member meetings, and an opening reception. Tuesday and Wednesday are full days of roundtables, presentations, working sessions, and peer conversations. Wednesday closes with awards and the annual Repair-Off.
Is eSummit strategic or technical?
Strategic. The eSummit is designed for leaders making decisions that shape how electronics are made, used, reused, and recycled. The conversations focus on collaboration, industry direction, and solving shared challenges.
Dates & location
When and where is eSummit27?
March 8-10, 2027, at the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU in Tempe, Arizona. Tempe is about 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and a short light rail ride from downtown Phoenix.
What is Welcome Day?
Welcome Day (Monday, March 8) is the day we welcome everyone to eSummit27! This is a day of facility tours, check in at the registration desk, get your badge and then kick back and enjoy the welcome reception with new and old friends in the evening!
Why a spring date?
We've wanted to move the eSummit to a spring schedule since its inception, and this was the time to do it. Between a crowded fall conference season and year-end demands, Q4 asks a lot of people. A spring eSummit positions those conversations at a point when strategies are still taking shape.
How do I get to the venue?
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is about 10 minutes from the hotel. Downtown Tempe is compact and walkable.

Sponsorship & exhibiting
How does exhibiting work?
The eSummit's exhibit space is integrated throughout the conference experience rather than in a separate expo hall. We work with each organization to figure out what makes sense, whether that's a conversation space, a demo setup, or something else entirely.
What is a Champion?
Champions are chosen by SERI, not by application. Each one is already doing the work — driving real progress across the electronics lifecycle: design, procurement, reuse, recycling, and policy.
Who do I contact about sponsorship?
eSummit sponsors support the moments that make the event work: dinners, receptions, tours, and the spaces where real conversations happen. Reach out, and we'll find the right fit for your organization.
