Official Rules

1. Sponsor

This sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International ("SERI"), a District of Columbia nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, with its principal place of business at 1315 Walnut St Ste 801, PMB 264, Philadelphia, PA 19107 ([email protected]). The laptops are donated by Lenovo. Lenovo is not a sponsor or administrator of this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by LinkedIn or any other social media platform.

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi) when they enter. Residents of Florida, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Virginia are not eligible. Employees, officers, directors and contractors of SERI and of Lenovo, any agency involved in this Sweepstakes, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each of them, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void in Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories, outside the United States, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

3. Entry Period

The Sweepstakes begins at [10:00 a.m.] Eastern Time ("ET") (15:00 UTC) on November 10, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on November 30, 2026 (04:59 UTC on December 1, 2026) (the "Entry Period"). SERI's computer clock is the official timekeeper. This Sweepstakes is separate from every other SERI promotion, and entries do not carry over to any other drawing.

4. How to Enter

There are two ways to enter. Both receive identical treatment, the same prizes and the same chance of winning. Each person may receive one (1) entry total, regardless of method.

(a) Conference registration. Register for eSummit27 at [REGISTRATION LINK] during the Entry Period. Each individual named as an attendee on a registration completed during the Entry Period automatically receives one entry. Registration requires a fee, but paying it is not required to enter. The registration price is the same during and outside the Entry Period.

(b) Free entry. Go to www.electronicssummit.org/esummit27-giveaway during the Entry Period, complete the entry form (first name, last name, email, mailing address, state of residence), confirm you are eligible, and submit. No payment, registration, or purchase is required. A person who registered for eSummit27 before the Entry Period may enter using the free entry form.

(c) Limits. Registering for eSummit27, or registering more than once, does not earn additional entries. Duplicate entries from the same person, including one made by both methods, count as one entry. Entries made by automated means, by third parties, or in bulk are void. Entry does not require agreeing to receive marketing communications.

5. Prizes

Four (4) prizes. Each is one Lenovo Certified Refurbished ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 laptop, model [20W1X01JR1] (14" display, Intel Core i7-1185G7 vPro processor, [8GB] memory, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro) with Lenovo's standard 1-year depot warranty. Approximate retail value: US$799 each, US$3,196 total. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, SERI may substitute a laptop of equal or greater value. Prizes are provided as is, subject only to the Lenovo warranty. Prize limit: each person may win only one (1) laptop in total across all SERI eSummit27 registration sweepstakes and webinar laptop drawings. A person who has already won a laptop in any of those promotions is not eligible to win again, and if selected, an alternate will be drawn.

6. Drawing and Odds

On [DRAWING DATE] at approximately [TIME] ET ([TIME] UTC), SERI will select four (4) potential winners at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period, after duplicates are removed, using [RANDOM SELECTION METHOD]. The drawing will take place remotely by SERI staff. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The drawing does not depend on any minimum number of entries or registrations. Winners do not need to attend eSummit27 or any other event.

7. Notification and Claim

SERI will notify each potential winner by email, at the address provided, within three (3) business days after the drawing. A potential winner must reply within five (5) business days after the notice is sent, confirming eligibility and providing a U.S. shipping address (no P.O. boxes). A potential winner who does not reply in time, is ineligible, or does not comply with these rules forfeits the prize, and SERI will select an alternate at random from the remaining eligible entries. SERI will continue selecting alternates until all prizes are awarded. SERI will ship each prize at SERI's expense within thirty (30) days after the winner's eligibility is confirmed. Prizes ship to U.S. addresses only.

8. Taxes

Each winner is responsible for all taxes and other costs of accepting and using a prize. A prize is generally taxable income at its approximate retail value. SERI will provide any tax reporting required by law.

9. Winners List

For the names of the winners, email [email protected] with the subject line "November 2026 Registration Sweepstakes Winners" within sixty (60) days after the drawing.

10. Privacy and Publicity

SERI will use entrant information to run this Sweepstakes under its Privacy Policy. Information is shared with Lenovo only as needed to fulfill prizes. Entering does not subscribe an entrant to marketing communications; SERI will send marketing emails only to entrants who opt in on the form. SERI may announce the names, cities and states of winners only with each winner's permission, except for any winner list SERI is required by law to provide.

11. General Conditions

SERI may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, submits entries by automated means or in violation of the entry limits, or otherwise violates these rules, and will apply these rules equally to every entrant. To the extent permitted by law, SERI and Lenovo are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries or email, or for technical failures beyond their reasonable control. If a technical failure or fraud prevents the Sweepstakes from running as planned, SERI will conduct the drawing from all eligible entries received before the problem occurred and will award all prizes. By entering, each entrant agrees that, to the extent permitted by law, SERI and Lenovo, and their affiliates, employees and agents, will not be liable for any loss or injury arising from participation in this Sweepstakes or from acceptance or use of a prize. Nothing in these rules limits any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of an entrant's state of residence requires otherwise.
